For many decades, the fully synthetic and waterproof Cementit adhesive was part of everyday life for many Swiss families. More than 100 employees work for merz + benteli at its Niederwangen site near Bern, 16 of them in the R&D department. As a niche company in a globally competitive B2B market, the family-owned business focuses on providing solutions that meet customers’ needs.<\/p>\n

Working in cooperation with selected market partners in Europe, the Middle East, the United States and the Pacific, the company is able to supply adhesives and sealants globally, generating annual sales of about 50 million Swiss francs. With the brands Gomastit for construction applications, Merbenit for industrial applications and Merbenature made from more than 50 percent renewable raw materials, merz + benteli is positioned as an independent specialist in the areas of sealing, ‘bonding and protection.<\/p>\n
