Electrically conductive materials for electronics

Discover all Mascherpa solutions in the world of electrically conductive materials for EMI/RFI shielding, electrical continuity, and electronic component assembly.

Why you need an electrically conductive material

In electronic devices, electrical conduction must be managed with materials capable of creating continuity between surfaces, components, or specific areas of the circuit.

Mascherpa electrically conductive materials meet this need with solutions for EMI/RFI shielding, grounding, ESD protection, and conductive assemblies. They can be used on PCBs, electronic enclosures, LEDs, sensors, and flexible circuits when there is a need to combine electrical reliability, application precision, and compatibility with the production process.

The choice depends on the required function: coating a surface, shielding a container, creating a connection, or replacing soldering in applications where cleanliness and process control are decisive.

Shielding and interference protection

  • Conductive coatings allow a surface to be made conductive and create EMI/RFI shielding on electronic enclosures, components, and sensitive areas. They are formulated with conductive fillers such as carbon, nickel, silver-plated copper, or silver, chosen based on the required conductivity, adhesion, and resistance.

Electrical connection and assembly

  • Electrically conductive adhesives combine mechanical fastening and electrical continuity. They are suitable for electronic assembly and repairs, connections on LEDs and flexible circuits, electrical jumpers, and applications where traditional soldering is not the most suitable solution.

Purpose of electrically conductive materials

  • Electrically conductive materials are chosen based on substrate, application method, conductivity level, operating temperature, and chemical or environmental resistance. For this reason, technical evaluation is central when choosing between conductive coatings, adhesives, pastes, or resins.
