Technology for industrial lubricants

Polyalkylene glycol (PAG)-based lubricants.

PAG lubricants: thermal stability, water solubility, ideal for metal-to-metal applications from -40°C to 200°C. Perfect for food and pharmaceutical sectors.

Introduction

Polyalkylene glycol (PAG) lubricants are a category of synthetic lubricants that use polyalkylene glycols as an oil base. These lubricants are characterized by their excellent thermal stability and compatibility with elastomers. They are particularly suitable for metal-to-metal applications with operating temperatures between -40°C and 200°C.

PAG lubricants in industry

  • In addition, PAGs are the only class of water-soluble synthetic lubricants, which allows for easy cleaning of equipment. This makes them particularly useful in applications where hygiene and cleanliness are important, such as in food and pharmaceutical industries. PAG lubricants are also used in a wide range of industries, including compressors, turbines, and transmission systems.
  • In general, polyalkylene glycol (PAG)-based lubricants are an effective solution to lubrication challenges in high-temperature environments and can improve the life and performance of the machinery and equipment used.
