Applications for industrial lubricants

Biodegradable lubricants

Biodegradable lubricants are formulated to reduce environmental impact. These products are designed to have greater biodegradability than conventional lubricants, which means they are more easily degraded by living organisms and the natural environment.

Introduction

They are often used in industrial, marine and agricultural applications, where environmental contamination by conventional lubricants can be significant.
However, it is important to note that biodegradable lubricants are not necessarily free of environmental impact, and must be disposed of appropriately to minimize adverse effects on soil and water resources.

In summary, biodegradable lubricants are products formulated to reduce the environmental impact of conventional lubricants through the use of ingredients derived from renewable sources and enhanced biodegradability.

Biodegradable oils

    • Biodegradable lubricating oils are composed of a mixture of vegetable oils or synthetic esters derived from petroleum and special additives to ensure superior performance. These oils offer good resistance to oxidation, high temperatures and wear, while maintaining degradability and biodegradability properties.

Biodegradable greases

  • Biodegradable greases are similar to lubricating oils, but contain more additives to increase viscosity and tightness. These additives can be of plant or animal origin and are easily decomposed by nature.
