Huntsman advanced materials at jec world 2018
Huntsman Advanced Materials will showcase its ultralight solutions for the automotive and aerospace industries at JEC World 2018 from March 6-8, the company will demonstrate its vast experience in improving composite performance and development to help companies meet the changing needs of the automotive and aerospace industries.
With more than 60 years of experience in the development of composite resins and adhesive technologies, Huntsman has extensive knowledge in creating cutting-edge chemicals that are able to increase production efficiency while overcoming complex design challenges.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see different high-performance solutions for automotive applications from individual components such as carbon hybrid composite wheels; to the complete BMW HP4 Race chassis made of composite material and fully functional
Huntsman’s booth(booth M31 Hall 6) is made using parts fabricated using the resin molding process (RTM) for mass production of lightweight composite parts.
For aerospace, the company will focus on lightweight aircraft interior components and demonstrate how its Araldite® chemicals have been used to create the lightest commercially available backrest with inherent fire resistance properties that can even achieve a 20 percent weight reduction.
Huntsman Advanced Materials will also co-sponsor Aerospace Planet, where it will host a conference on Innovation and Trends in Aerospace. The conference will be held on Wednesday, March 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
