The new
Presto Black® SSB
for cold burnishing is effective for most stainless steel alloys and substrates, can be used in dip and brush. Creating an aesthetically appealing finish, Presto Black® SSB can be easily used in production finishing, for hand touch-up needs, or for decorative or architectural metalwork.

include machined components, fasteners, screws, nuts, structural and decorative elements. details of aircraft. The Presto Black SSB system, ensures a high-quality, uniform burnishing with excellent corrosion resistance.
Presto Black® SSB , in the brush version, reacts quickly from 1-3 minutes, produces a black finish, and does not change part tolerances. If it is used by immersion, the process can best be implemented through a series of containers, for cleaning, for rinsing, for burnishing, and with the application of a finishing fixative for long-term protection. Presto Black SSB, in the immersion version involves a 12-15 minute processing cycle for a full batch.
To achieve an excellent burnish, Mascherpa recommends for cleaning mechanical parts the heavy-duty cleaner Safe Scrub® ST, which easily removes oil and surface residues on metal parts; it is an environmentally friendly choice because’ it contains biodegradable surfactants.
