Merbenit FS30 is a paintable sealant that is both difficult to ignite and elastic at the same time. It adheres to a variety of materials and surfaces and meets the high requirements of the IMO International Maritime Organization.
The product is generally indicated where a barrier to the action of flames and fires is recommended.
It is suitable for connecting joints, sealing of cable passage channels, pipes and conduits, as well as for housings, enclosures and covers.
Suitable substrates are metals, including powder-coated, galvanized, anodized, chrome plated, various plastics, ceramics, concrete, and wood. Due to the wide variety and compositions of different materials, preliminary tests are recommended.
