Krytox lubricants increase the efficiency of your production system
Krytox high-performance perflouropolyether (PFPE)-based lubricants are inert, water- and oil-repellent, solvent-resistant, nonflammable, nontoxic, and compatible with most elastomers, plastics, and metals. PFPE lubricants operate under extreme temperatures, extreme pressure and exposure to harsh chemicals. This unique chemistry enables them to outperform traditional mineral lubricants.

Krytox PFPE lubricants extend the service life of components
A textile manufacturer uses a heat-drying oven as part of the process. In the drying oven, the wet fabric passes along many support rollers inside a large metal box, moving through several heated zones with temperatures reaching 220°C. This manufacturer was replacing six bearings per month due to premature bearing failures. Frequent downtime negatively affected productivity. Worse, the quality of the fabric has been compromised. The manufacturer needed a lubricant that would maintain its integrity at high temperatures in high-humidity environments.
