Tests carried out on different types of screws show constant and repeatable friction over five consecutive tightening cycles. This stability contributes to achieving the force of insufficient required, limiting i risks related to leaks of friction, seizing of the connection or uneven tightening.

Calcium-free formulation for safer handling
One of the main innovations of Molykote P-3300 is the intentional elimination of calcium from its formulation.
This choice avoids the intentional addition of calcium compounds, known to promote the formation of hexavalent chromium compounds at high temperatures. The formulation with low risk therefore supports safer product management during industrial operations.
Molykote® P-3300 also contains no intentionally added polytetrafluoroethylene, or PTFE, nor other per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS.
High performance with a cleaner white color
In terms of performance, Molykote® P-3300 offers good resistance to water and corrosion inhibition properties. The service temperature ranges between -30 and +540 °C, while the stability of the solid lubricant reaches up to +1350 °C.
All this with a white color presentation that offers an aesthetic and functional advantage in applications where visual cleanliness is important, in contrast to the characteristic black color of Molykote 1000.
Performance is supported by specific tests. In salt spray tests conducted at room temperature for 48 hours, the threaded surfaces protected with Molykote® P-3300 cannot showed formation of rust. The washout test in water according to DIN 51807 T.2 also detected a loss of less than 5% by weight after one hour at 80 °C.
Manual application and automated dispensing
