Polyurethane sealant adhesives adapt to the needs of production processes.

Introduction

One-component and two-component polyurethane sealant adhesives elastically absorb mechanical shocks due to dynamic stresses and compensate for thermal expansion between dissimilar substrates; they are able to create elastic and tenacious joints with higher loads than other elastomeric adhesives.

Polyurethane sealant adhesives adapt to the needs of production processes; the curing mechanism can be RTV (room temperature curing) or, for faster processes, heat-accelerated for bi-components.

Main properties of polyurethane sealants

  • Load resistance up to 5 Mpa for mono-components and 18 Mpa for bi-components
  • Elongation between 80% (2k) and 500% (1k)
  • Moisture and water resistance
  • Ease of use.
