Technology for industrial lubricants
Polyester-based Lubricants (POE)
Polyester-based oils (POEs) provide purity, low acidity and high miscibility to protect components from wear, improving efficiency in various applications.
Introduction
Polyolester (POE)-based oils are an advanced solution for refrigeration and air conditioning systems, and the food industry in general. Due to their chemical and physical characteristics and formulation with specific additives, they are ideal for ensuring high performance and longer life of plant components.
Properties
- Moisture control: moisture in polyolester-based oils should not exceed 100 mg/kg. When higher levels are reached, metal corrosion and hydrolysis reactions are triggered.
- Very low acidity: POE oils have extremely low acidity, ensuring low chemical reactivity and greater stability over time.
- Miscibility and solubility: POE oils boast excellent solubility and miscibility with refrigerant gases in both the low-temperature gas phase and the liquid phase, improving system operation under various operating conditions.
Polyester Advantages (POE)
- High chemical stability for critical applications.
- Longer equipment life due to resistance to corrosion and premature aging.
- Reduced risk of blockages in valves and passage orifices due to optimal formulation and compatibility with filtration systems.
