Mascherpa at IPACK-IMA 2025: the Best of the Trade Fair

IPACK-IMA 2025 has concluded and we want to thank everyone who stopped by to visit us at our stand. It was an intense trade fair, rich with meetings, technical exchanges and new connections. In Milan we brought the best of our solutions for the food industry, with focus on food-grade lubricants, hot melt adhesives for packaging and food product labeling. The interest, curiosity and feedback received confirm that innovation always stems from dialogue.

The Solutions Presented at the Trade Fair

At the Mascherpa stand we brought a selection of products and strategies designed to improve safety, efficiency and quality of production processes in the food industry. There were three main focuses: NSF H1 certified lubrication for food machinery, high-performance hot melt adhesives for packaging and adhesive solutions for labeling that meet the requirements of food regulations, durability and recyclability.

Food-grade Lubricants for High Performance and Safety

During the IPACK-IMA 2025 trade fair we explored the role of food-grade lubricants in efficient and safe equipment management. Our solutions, all NSF H1 certified, are designed to reduce machine downtime, ensure regulatory compliance and optimize component service life.

From lubrication of bearings, chains and gearboxes, to the most delicate applications, we showed how our oils and greases for food use respond to severe working conditions, high temperatures and frequent washing.

In particular, visitors were able to learn about formulations dedicated to preventive maintenance in the dairy, confectionery and beverage sectors. We demonstrated how choosing the right lubricant for food machinery is fundamental to successfully pass every safety audit, reduce the risk of contamination and improve production continuity.

Hot Melt for Packaging and Labeling: Efficiency, Sustainability and Zero Machine Downtime

In the food industry, an adhesive can make the difference between efficient production and continuous machine downtime. This is precisely why at IPACK-IMA 2025 Mascherpa highlighted reliable hot melt solutions, sustainable and suitable even for the most challenging conditions. We presented adhesives capable of guaranteeing perfect adhesion on difficult materials, such as corrugated cardboard, PET, painted plastic and glass, drastically reducing waste on equipment and carbonization problems.

For packaging, our hot melt solutions ensure high mechanical performance even on high-speed lines, with adhesives compatible with the most advanced environmental and recyclability standards. For labeling, we proposed formulations suitable for cold, wet and flexible surfaces, capable of maintaining readability and stability even in complex environments. In particular, wash-off solutions allow controlled label removal on PET bottles, facilitating the recycling process and meeting the requirements of DRS (Deposit Return System) systems, increasingly widespread in Europe.

Centrale del Latte di Brescia, one of the leading Italian dairy companies, relied on us to optimize efficiency and safety of their production lines. The intervention involved two strategic areas: blow molding machine lubrication, improved with a solution capable of guaranteeing operational continuity even under severe conditions, and labeling, made cleaner and more precise thanks to the introduction of a high-performance adhesive.
