Merbenit SF50 is a permanent flexible adhesive based on Silane Modified Polymer (SMP) technology. SMP-based adhesives have the advantages and benefits of silicone and polyurethane; in fact, they exhibit both the mechanical strength of polyurethanes and the weathering strength of silicones but are nonetheless free of solvents and isocyanates.

Merbenit SF50 is odorless, environmentally and operator friendly, as it contains no hazardous components, and also does not need chemical pretreatment.

The product cross-links very quickly with fast strength development and high quality stability, Merbenit SF50 is ideal as an adhesive for various materials and surfaces. After application, Merbenit SF50 SMP exhibits a high green strength that enables rapid use. When fully cured, it has a high tensile strength (3 N / mm2). It absorbs vibrations perfectly and is compatible with paints.

These unique features make it compatible with a variety of applications; in fact, Merbenit SF50 is frequently used in restoring door seals, fenders, front and rear panels, running boards, pillars, sunroofs, and reinforcement brackets. In addition, it is used to seal perpendicular and overlapping joints.
