A Mural to Tell a Story

“The adhesive that unites us and the lubricant that eliminates friction” is the theme of the art contest promoted on the occasion of Mascherpa’s 120th anniversary and dedicated to the memory of Luciano Mascherpa. The project led to the creation of a mural at 10 Morocco Street, NoLo in Milan.

Nicholas Perra ‘s work combines abstraction and hyperrealism and expresses values of union, cohesion and social harmony, taking inspiration from the metaphorical qualities of adhesive and lubricant. Adhesive and lubricant thus become metaphors for cohesion and fluidity, reducing friction and facilitating dialogue and progress. An artistic intervention that transforms urban space into a symbol of unity, movement and transformation.

In addition, at the base of the work, the inscription “Made in memory of Luciano Mascherpa” serves to remember and honor the figure of the late president, leaving an indelible mark in the collective memory.
