Araldite 2050 and Araldite 2051
Araldite 2050 and Araldite 2051 are Hunstman’s new fast-setting methacrylic adhesives designed to accelerate bonding operations at low temperatures, in water, salt water or otherwise in the presence of moisture.
Araldite 2050 can cure at extremely low temperatures from -20 C° up to 25 C°; in contrast, Araldite 2051 from 0 C° up to 40 C°. With excellent resistance to aging and weathering, they are ideal for extreme environments allowing fast bonding anytime, anywhere.
Applications may include wind turbine blade repair, industrial piping, and marine and marine applications. Araldite 2050 and 2051 require virtually no surface pretreatment, both are suitable for different substrates such as metals, composites, and thermoplastics, and are available in easy-to-use cartridges.

Applications
This adhesive can bond metals, composite materials, and thermoplastics. Suitable for most off-site maintenance applications, specifically designed to provide rapid assembly solutions in various industries such as bus, truck, rail, marine, as well as in wind power and general industry.
