Dupont launches its new brand

DowDuPont had announced that in June 2019 its Speciality Products Division will become an independent publicly traded company and will be called DuPont.

The new DuPont will provide specialized solutions for customers in four segments: Electronics & Imaging, Nutrition & Biosciences, Safety & Construction, and Transportation & Advanced Polymers.

As part of the changes, DuPont unveiled a new global identity and brand, which recognizes its heritage and goal of being an innovation company with the purpose of solving complex problems of new global challenges.

Our new brand is one of many steps we are taking in transforming DuPont and amplifies what we do; Help our customers solve complex problems and turn their best ideas into real products and solutions said Barbara Pandos, chief communications officer of DowDuPont’s Specialty Products Division. It retains the legacy shape of DuPont’s iconic Oval, which has provided a seal of quality, performance and trust for more than a century, but will no longer be constrained by an elliptical edge-signaling a collaborative and open flow of ideas and innovation.

DuPont is Mascherpa in Italy with the Molykote brand in special lubricants, Betamate and Betafil in industrial adhesives and sealants, and Fortasun for solutions in photovoltaics.
