Huntsman at JEC World 2019: Making a Material Difference through Chemistry

This year at JEC World 2019 Huntsman will showcase its evolving offering of composite materials, polyurethane resins and structural adhesives for automotive, aerospace and industrial applications. From concept and design to maintenance and repair, Huntsman will demonstrate how its latest innovations perfectly meet customers’ new challenges and needs.
As a pioneer in achieving lightweight, cost, productivity and design benefits, Huntsman will highlight its expertise in high-performance ARALDITE® composite solutions for automotive applications.
For the aerospace industry, JEC World 2019 marks the unveiling of a new partnership between Huntsman and metering systems supplier ViscoTec. A dynamic static mixer, vipro-DUOMIX® offers a solution for two-component materials with different viscosities. Thanks to vipro-DUOMIX®, most of Huntsman’s Areospace products, such as ARALDITE® 252-1, EPOCAST® 1648 and EPOCAST® 1641, can now be dispensed automatically.
Huntsman will also present its latest advances in high-performance adhesives, with the launch of new methacrylate adhesive products. ARALDITE® 2050 and ARALDITE® 2051 expand Huntsman’s already large portfolio of adhesives, accelerating assembly operations in extreme conditions: in subzero temperatures, salt water or high humidity.
Among other new products at JEC WORLD you will see carbon-based solutions from Huntsman’s recently acquired brand, MIRALON®. Lightweight and durable in the most demanding environments, MIRALON® materials possess strength, ductility and electrical conductivity.
