Aerospace qualification for critical structural bonding

The product ARALDITE® 2051 A/B, developed by Huntsman, has been approved in accordance with the stringent aerospace specification ECS 7409 Edition A for methacrylic adhesives in paste extreme conditions ultra-fast curing.

This certification is valid for use in applications requiring reliable structural support in extreme conditions, with an operating temperature range between -55°C and +90°C.

Rapid structural repair for challenging environments

Thanks to its accelerated curing capability and its performance in humid environments or at low temperatures, ARALDITE® 2051 A/B is ideal for maintenance, repair e production operations in the aerospace industry.

Its availability in cartridges of 50 ml and 380 ml (ref. 4408308 – pack of 6 x 6 x 50 ml) facilitates direct field or on-site application.

This methacrylic adhesive has established itself as a highly reliable technical solution for structural bonding on materials such as metals, composites or thermoplastics, even in adverse conditions.

ARALDITE® 2051 A/B features

ARALDITE® 2051 A/B is a two-component methacrylic structural adhesive with fast polymerization, designed to operate between 0°C and 40°C with working times under 10 minutes.

This structural adhesive ensures high mechanical performance, with tensile strength up to 40 MPa and excellent shear resistance, maintaining stability even in aggressive environmental conditions.

The non-sag formulation and minimal pretreatment required simplify application on various surfaces even in the presence of moisture or in challenging environments.
